Lamentations; Hebrews 4-5

Lamentations 1:12 “Come all you who pass by the way, look and see whether there is any suffering which has been dealt to me…”

MY REFLECTION: Sometimes the slow, protracted recovery from Guillain-Barre has me throwing a pity party.  Strengthen me Lord to greet each day with joy and gratitude for the beauty of Your creation and the blessings you shower upon me and my family!

GOD’S ANSWER: Countless people throughout time have suffered much more greatly than you, you big goof.  Did not you read later in Lamentations about My besieged people reduced to boiling and eating their own children?  Nonetheless I like your attitude – keep it up, don’t get cocky.

So you’re on a roll are you? One of these days, we need to get together and meet somewhere…that includes Mary too!
