Ezekiel 25-27; James 3

James 3:8 “…but no human being can tame the tongue.  It is a restless evil, full of poison.”  In my pride I consider myself witty, but wit easily curdles into sarcasm and can be the poison of my tongue that James refers to. Lord, if I have wit, let it be for Your glory, to draw people closer to You, to give them a glimpse of Your mirth, which we shall joyfully know in Heaven.

GOD’S ANSWER: Know from Matthew 15, it is what comes out of one’s mouth that defiles.  Or what one tweets, emails, instagrams, or posts on Facebook.
