Daniel 4-6; 2 Peter 2

Peter 2:21 “For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from the holy command handed down to them.”  I recall Jesus’ words “To those much has been given, much is expected.”  It is not going to go well for Christian apostates at their particular judgment.  But that is one of the beautiful things about the Faith: we are called to love and forgive and let the Just Judge ultimately sort things out.  Christians (speaking for the ones I know) don’t behead apostates, set them on fire, or force them to watch “Judge Judy” episodes for hours on end.  We are warned not to makes such judgments.

GOD’S ANSWER: I did create the entire universe out of nothing, fix its physical laws and set it in motion.  So trust me, I have the Ultimate Justice (great wrestler name, btw) thing covered.  The more you leave that to me, the happier you will be in your time on the earth.  Strive for justice, but have peace knowing ultimately everyone gets their just desserts.
