Zechariah 1-3; Revelation 12

Revelation 12:1 “A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.”  This is a sign of great contradiction between Catholics and many other Christians.  I am flummoxed that someone could read and reflect on Revelation 12, and on her Fiat and the Magnificat (Luke 1:46-55) and come to the conclusion that Mary was a mere instrument of the Divine Will and not particularly worthy of any special honor.  In the Davidic kingdom, if Jesus is the King, His mother Mary is the Queen.  Anyone got a problem with that?  Bring it on! (I tease, I joke….somewhat)

GOD’S ANSWER:  Behind every good man is a good woman.  Behind the Perfect Man was a sinless Woman, perfect in her soul, who freely chose to cooperate with My salvific plan.  And she makes a sensational fava bean and goat cheese casserole.  You definitely want to meet her!
