Exodus 7-9; Matthew 13

Matthew 13: 31-32 “…The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that a person took and sowed in a field.  It is the smallest of all the seeds, yet when full grown is the largest of plants.  It becomes a large bush, and all the birds of the sky come and dwell in its branches.”  Christ here describes His Church, and what it will become. (Not to be confused with faith, when He says “If you had faith the size of a mustard seed…)  Note he says all the birds of the sky will dwell in it…the sparrows, the peacocks, the vultures, and there will undoubtedly be some nuthatches too!  Note you “It’s just me and Jesus” folks: that is not what our Lord intended.  We must worship as a community.  Heaven is a community.

GOD’S ANSWER:  Yes, a community.  As in John’s vision, a great multitude no one can count.
